You will work as part of a smaller team so you can expect to build strong relations with your colleagues.The Opportunity:We’re looking for multiple Process Technicians to fill our shift rosters who want to join us on our journey and want to expand their processing knowledge. Career development will be an important aspect to these roles. We understand that this is a new process to Western Australia so training and development will be included to ensure you develop your skills and knowledge and you grow with us. Construction works are well progressed, with most equipment already having arrived onsite ready for installation.This role, which reports to the Processing Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for the day to day running of the processing plant, including taking ownership of operating areas., Our various areas will include kiln operation, leaching, reagent handling, water treatment and filtration. This role will also include some management of the various processing bulk materials used throughout the processing plant.This role is offered on a Kalgoorlie residential basis only, working an even time 7/7 rotating roster of day and night shifts. The role may start initially as Monday – Friday while the construction phase is completed prior to transitioning to the shift roster when commissioning of the new plant starts.If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a brand-new plant, expand your mineral processing knowledge, process a future facing commodity, with long mine life ahead of it, this role would be suited to you.You will be Responsible for:The safe day-to-day operation of the processing plant including utilising some surface mobile equipment throughout the various areasOwnership of the operational areas such as kiln operations, leaching, filtration, water treatment and reagent handling and ensuring safe and efficient runningSupporting the management of the by product storage facilities around the siteIdentifying maintenance opportunities and liaise with the maintenance department when maintenance tasks are required to be completed across the processing plantEnsure a safe working environment is maintained and that the plant is run to Lynas standards.
